The End Of The Line

Review by Tennis12

This is a good book about two men who rescue a Jewish girl who is about to be captured by the Nazis. Hans and Lars are not Jewish, but they are brothers. They live together and operate a tram car. One day their car is being searched by Nazis and there are two Jews on their tram. The problem is, they don’t have their yellow stars on! The brothers are able to save the young girl, but unfortunately her mother is taken away. Read more to find what happens! This is a very good story and I would recommend it.

Cool learning about what it was like back then. I’m proud to learn it was the Canadians who liberated the Netherlands. It felt like they must have been having a rough time. I was surprised by how courageous people were; and was surprised how awful almost everyone was behaving.
