Action Packed Historical Fiction Novel

Review by Joseph

Helen and Henry are Jewish children from Frankfurt. Their mom is forced to leave them at a French convent to hide their Jewish identity. Henry, the younger child, does not talk because he is too scared. Helen tries to help her younger brother, but she is unsuccessful. The Nazis enter town for the first time and the convent became more secretive. To hear whether Henry finds his voice and whether the kids escape the Nazis wrath, you have to read this nerve-racking and exciting novel. This is a great book for kids that love historical fiction specifically about Jewish children during World War II.

Really good book

Review by EShmid

This book is a really well written book about the holocaust. I would totally suggest it to anyone who likes learning about history or the holocaust specifically. It's also good if you like fantasy. I really like how the characters find ways to stay happy even in hard times.

Amazing book for all

Review by MusicalL

I really liked this book’s suspense, and how it has enough force to make you feel bad for the character. Really good book in all aspects.

MASTERS OF SILENCE

Review by HLB

The book "masters of silence" is a great book if you like hearing how people stood up for themselves during the holocaust. I loved the book because the main characters defended themselves in a very peculiar way. They used the art of "mime" to defend each other. Once they crossed the Swiss border, the Nazis couldn't get them. I hope you enjoy the book!
