Action Packed Historical Fiction Novel

Review by Joseph

Helen and Henry are Jewish children from Frankfurt. Their mom is forced to leave them at a French convent to hide their Jewish identity. Henry, the younger child, does not talk because he is too scared. Helen tries to help her younger brother, but she is unsuccessful. The Nazis enter town for the first time and the convent became more secretive. To hear whether Henry finds his voice and whether the kids escape the Nazis wrath, you have to read this nerve-racking and exciting novel. This is a great book for kids that love historical fiction specifically about Jewish children during World War II.

Masters Of Silence

Review by ShifraLeah

I really enjoyed Masters of Silence. It was a really good book about World War II. It was cool how the chapters were the names of the characters & it changed perspective.

I loved Masters of Silence! It was well written, meaningful, and a very creative story line. I really liked the amount of emotion and feeling the author wove into the story, it really made me feel like I was a part of Helen and Henry's lives. I would highly recommend this book!

Masters of Silence

Review by treemonkey

Masters of Silence Is a great book about how Helen and her brother Henry go to a church to escape Natzi soldiers but as soldiers invade the towns that are nearby the nuns start to worry the safety of everyone. Will Helen and Henry(aka Claire and Andre) be safe? Read Masters of Silence to find out!
