Sydney A. Frankel's Summer Mix-Up

Sydney can’t wait to spend the summer chilling with her BFF, Maggie. Then her mom signs her up for a dance class, hoping that Sydney will overcome her shyness and perform in front of actual PEOPLE. That’s not going to happen, but what Mom doesn’t know can’t hurt her…

Awesome Book For Anyone!

Review by Alma

I really liked this book because it’s a book about a girl named Sydney (obviously) who ends up switching summer camps with her best friend, Maggie. Maggie and Sydney are both really fun, great characters. Sydney is a tall girl with a mom who’s expecting a baby who doesn’t like public speaking at all and there’s Maggie, who’s average height with an older brother and loves to dance. There are lots of twists and turns, there were parts where I cringed, like one time you think that something happened, when really something else did (I’m trying not to give spoilers), but all in all I think anyone from age 8 to age 12, would find this book a great read.

SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review by Doglvr

This book was so so so so so good! I love how sneaky Sydney, aka the main character, and her BFF, Maggie, are in the story. I also appreciate how they don't have phones in the story so they can limit their screen time. I like how they keep the book more simple by not having too many things going on in the story. That way you can follow along in the book easily. You really should read this book.
