Friends to the Rescue

I liked that it went back and forth between two stories in the past and present. I also liked that there was a lot of detail. Even without many pictures, I felt like I had a really good visual image in my head. Lastly, in the story of the past, I liked that it told you the story of the boy's grandfather's childhood.

Takes place half in the past and half in modern day. I enjoyed that it was a mystery, and the author revealed clues from the grandpa's past that helped solve it.

It was an amazing story and great plot but I wish it was a little longer.

It was an unique book. You should read it

What a book! I really loved seeing how someone who is afraid, help another who might seem brave but is truly afraid as well on the inside. I was left amazed!
