Ruthie and her family are fleeing the Nazis on a luxury cruise ship. She and her friend Wolfie are having a blast, dressing up for dinner and playing pranks on the other passengers. But the adventure turns into a nightmare as one country after another refuses entry to the Jewish refugees. Will Ruthie and her family ever get off the ship?

I really liked this story because it takes you on a journey through the ocean on a cruise liner, and it shows you what it would have been like during that time period. It has a very engaging plot and it was a real page turner!

The story was written in away I didn’t love. The plot was a little boring, and I don’t really recommend.

In the poetic book 37 days at sea, young Ruthie is forced to leave her childhood home and flee the Nazis aboard the cruise ship The MS saint louis and immigrate to north America. she meets fellow passenger Wolfie and the two of them get into lots of mischief together.
