It was my favorite type of chapter book- life-like action. The book also taught me ALOT of Hebrew, and also about taking care of an Israeli kid when your a kid.

I loved this book!

This book made me think more about friendship.

This was a great book! It was funny to read about someone my age who is afraid of everything. But he has a good friend that always sticks by his side. When his cousin Pesach comes, he tries to help Seymour not be a chicken, but when Pesach gets hurt, will all of his hard work pay off or will Seymour still be chicken? Well, that's for you to find out.

interesting

Thumbs up!

I liked the story and the characters. I really felt that I could understand Seymour's life and fears. There were some funny parts and it was cool learning new Hebrew words like ben-dodi or madreech.

I liked this book because I can relate to it - and many other kids probably can too! I would lend this book to a friend and I think my sister would enjoy it!

Author of Seymour, the Formerly Fearful

Like Seymour, Eve B. Feldman loved school but hated sports. Her mother used to tell her, “Stop reading for a minute and go outside!” Aside from writing books, she loves laughing, chocolate, and seeing friends.
