Pickled Watermelon

Pickled Watermelon is a book about a girl named Molly who goes to Israel for a month for her uncle’s wedding. She meets lots of new family and does lots of new things, but at first she isn’t really sure that she fits in. The plot is pretty simple, but I would still recommend it. I also learned a lot about Israel. The author, Esty Schacter, makes you feel as if you are Molly. When you read Pickled Watermelon, you feel Molly’s worries and can clearly picture her surroundings. If you are looking for a quick read about adjusting to a new place, want to learn more about Israel from a young girl’s eyes, or just need a good book, Pickled Watermelon is the right choice for you. I wish I could go to Israel I have always wanted to. I would not fall asleep until this book was finished! I would definitely recommend it is a 5 star book!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But pickled watermelon does not sound so good. It’s nice molly goes to Israel for a month to see her family and go to her uncle’s Muir’s wedding!
