I liked this book.

This book taught me more about Israel.

Great story about Israel, I learned a lot. Not super character-driven, but because it was so short that was okay. Very sweet and fairly engrossing. If you're looking for something to distract you get this. A quick, breezy read that may be worth your time if you're running out of things to read. Definitely pick this- but only if the other books look so-so or you don't have a lot of time for reading.

you should read this book!

I liked this book.

This book made me think more about the importance of family.

The book only mentioned pickled watermelon a couple times. It didn't drive the plot, and although it is an Israeli food, so are a lot of other foods mentioned, and so I find it kind of strange that it is called "Pickled Watermelon."

I like it, but it is very short.

Uhhhhh... Pickled watermelon was the topic for less than 3 pages!
Submitted 6/23/2018 by Zephyros777

This was a very well-composed book, but pickled watermelon, the title, is mentioned and talked about for about 2-4 pages! It also never really had a main plot or a driving plot device, but it was very interesting and thoughtful.

good book but does not have that much to do with pickled watermelon
