I loved this book!

This book made me think more about the importance of family.

I thought about how, what if my dad left me or my birth parents died before I knew them? It was really good, and made me think below the surface.

This Book Is Great!

Thumbs up!

This book made me think about the importance of friendship and also family. When you get to the end of Chapter One, it speeds up, so be patient! If you can't sit patiently through a chapter for it to speed up, this book is not for you.

I Loved This Book!

This book was amazing. Once I started reading it, I couldn't seem to put it down. It's a great book about two girls who are seeking the meaning of family.

The whole story was an exaggeration
Submitted 1/2/2019 by cupcakebupcake

I thought it would be much more interesting and less shallow. I felt like the whole book was just Yada yada yada. It went on and on and never got to the point. Seemed like a page filler to me.

I was surprised but I LOVED this book

Thumbs up!

This book made me think more about friendship.

This was a great book - I couldn't put it down! With a great plot and great lesson/message, this book is AWESOME! Also, it is filled with emotion, and teaches you what it's like to live with a mom who doesn't even take care of you, no dad, and a "witch" as your only hope. Some questions I've thought about include:
How does it feel to live without your birth parents?
How are these two characters similar and different?
How would I feel/act around this situation?
Overall, this was a great book!! (I would DEFINITELY recommend it to others.)

Amazing!!!

Submitted 12/4/2018 by zoegrace

This book was quite disappointing. I find that the book is ok but it really wasn't what I had in mind. I hate the way Katie's parents treat her!

I loved this book!

I could not stop reading this book!

Kind of bad kind of fine
Submitted 12/2/2018 by Rainbowbear

This book was just OK

This book was bad because it had a lot of dead ends like when Katie and babushka have matching watches and you think it's going to lead to a mystery of some sort but the author gets distracted or something and doesn't finish their thought. I also felt that it was kind of good because it had a lot of mystery and potential. However the main characters had lots of secrets and I just felt like the author would do better writing his thoughts down, because there was an interesting storyline and then having someone else actually write the book. Overall I didn't like it but I didn't hate it.

Such a great book!!!

Paper Chains is such a great book. The main characters, Katie and Ana, have very different stories and both are combined into a friendship that stays true throughout the story. I would definitely consider reading other books by this author. I loved this book!!!! :)

I loved this book!

This book made me think more about friendship.

This was a great book, but the reason I marked it four stars is because I didn't like when Mikey had to have surgery

So, if you don't like hospitals and surgery, I don't really recommend this book

But if you don't care, I will recommend this book

it is a good book

This book was so good, I finished it the day after I got it! I loved how the characters were so relatable. I have to admit, there were still some confusing parts, but the plot was still interesting and exciting. To conclude, this was a great book, and you should definitely read it!

Yay!!!

I loved this book!

This book was awesome. It made me think about the importance of family and friendship. It is about two best friends: Katie and Anna. Katie is adopted and is longing to know more about her birth parents, but she doesn't want to hurt her parents feelings. Anna's dad has also recently left the family to play professional hockey, leaving her family brokenhearted. Both girls are struggling to find out what it really means to be family, and learning about the importance of friendship. This book taught me about staying close to the people you love, even when it's hard.

One of the best books I ever read

I loved this book!

I really liked Paperchains because it talks about friendship and helping one another when someone gets physically or mentally hurt. Even when Ana and Katie‘s relationship started falling apart they know they have to work together to help one another and help other people. I would totally lend this to a friend because if they are mean to someone it helps them bring themselves, and a friend they may have broken up with, back together again.

It's boring until the end of the first chapter
Submitted 10/3/2018 by Joojeh

Like i said. You have to be patient with the book. If you're not going to be, then this book isn't for you. But over all it's really good. It just needs to speed up a notch.
