I loved this book!
This book made me think more about the importance of family.
This book was so funny! I gave four stars because I wish it was longer! I really recommend this book!!
This book was so good that I read it around ten times. Also it taught me a little bit about space believe it or not.
I've read 16 pages of this book and it's funny to me and her sisters are funny to, but what was really to me was when Mirka thew a rock at one of the bullies.
YEESH!!! This book was a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT! It was so confusing! I read it over like 5 times and I still don't get the plot!! I'd say that you shouldn't read the book. It made me think about conflicts I have. Each time I read it I'm in a bad mood for the rest of the day. It just seriously bums me out. So as you can probably tell, I would not recommend it. I'd give it zero stars but it won't let me.
This book was just OK
This book might appeal to some audiences but not to me. The book was sorta plain and I got mad at some of the characters.
I would read more books by this author.
I loved the mix of fantasy and judaism in this book, I can't even begin to imagine how crazy it would be if the events in this book happened in my life. It just seems unbelievable, in a good way of course. Normally, I don't like graphic novels that much, but I loved this one. If you are choosing between this book and another, choose this one!!!
This book made me think more about friendship.
I think people would consider this book because it is about friendship.
this book as awesome.i liked the action and humor.
This book made me think more about being Jewish.
This book is a really good book. I recommend this book for you. If you pick this book to read you made a smart choice. This book is about a girl named Mirka. In the book a witch take's a piece of Mirka's hair and used it to turn a meteorite to a copy of mirka. They have a contest to see who is a better mirka. Read the book to find out who wins.
This action packed book is great for fantasy lovers. This Jewish girl has amazing adventures that anyone would love hearing about. The author incorporates Judaism and Jewish values with adventure.
Great Book! I want to read it again and again!
I liked the book because it told us more about being Jewish and about some holidays. It taught me how to not be rude or try to be someone else. It is okay to be me.
I loved this book! I read it again and again and i'm still reading it!
A very good graphic novel with unique problems that make you think. I recommend the rest of the series too.
This book taught me more about Jewish holidays, rituals, and even food.
Mirka is so funny in this story. She single handedly defeated a troll in the last book, and now can she defeat this magic shape-shifting meteorite? Mika understands why it is important to be Jewish, but will the meteorite take it all away? Find it out in Hereville: How Mirka Met a Meteorite
It made me realize that your parents tell you to do something for a good reason. If you disobey something bad might happen to you.
This book is sooo awesome! It has the perfect amount of everything: Jewish values, adventure, Suspense, family, and everything else that makes a good book. I recommend this book to anyone, but I suggest you read the first book in the series first.
If you love adventure and contests this book is great for you.
I rated this book 5 stars because it made me think about really important things, like the fact that I was reminded that, no matter what, my family, well, I love them and recognize that if it wasn`t for my parents, I`d be dead. I suggest you read this book; it`s really good!
This book was sooooooo awesome! #Full with awesomeness😄! I didn't order this story, I already had it. I would (and do) recommend this book to all my Jewish friends. Hope you enjoyed it!!!
I could NOT get enough of this book. I re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and re-read it and, well you get the point. I think I memorized every word.
I liked this book.
I liked this book because it was funny. Now that I read it I want to read more graphic novels.
Buckle your seatbelts its gonna be a wild ride.:) Mirka or Metty - who's the better Mirka? This book has a perfect mix of moral and excitment.
I really like fiction books and graphic novels, so this was a mix of both. This book is really amazing.
This book is a very good book for kids that already know what they wanna be when they grow up. I personally know and learned from this book that I want to be a figure stater or a football player. Mika had no doubt on anything else but being a sword fighter. Hope u enjoy this book.
I have never seen a Jewish graphic novel! I never thought there would be one ever! This author wrote the book perfectly. I will take good care of the book and read it forever and ever!!!
This book isn't realistic in the least bit. That's what makes it good. It's short and sweet, but definitely one to re-read. Mirka is destined to make you laugh. You can imagine my joy when I saw the sequel. If you liked this, look out for Hereveille; How Mirka got her Sword
This book is funny in exciting. As Mirka learns to live with a copy of herself it makes you wonder what living with a copy of you would be like. Overall a fantastic book.
What I really liked about this book was that it wasn't like one of those books that are too long or too short, it was a nice sized book. I also like that it was a graphic novel,so when you have to stop reading the book, you're not really missing such a big part.
I love Hereville. It was so fun to read. I liked that it was a comic. Mirka is a very good character. She likes to sword fight just like me. I like that they made her have a step mother. I think that is unique in a way. One of the coolest parts is the meteorite. It makes the story more interesting. I also like that they added a witch. When I read that part I was excited to see what was next. The thing I like the most is the part where Mirka goes into space. It would be cool if Mirka stayed in space a little longer.
Mirka and Metty each have a place in their own family, but Metty does not belong on Earth. I like that Mirka knits so many berets, and in the end her beret saves her from dying in outer space.
I think the book was ok. I liked that the book was a graphic novel. I wish the parents were more part of the story line.
If you like comic and adventure, you should read this book! It's about Mirka,a jewish heroine who asks a troll to summon chocolate pudding in someones house. The troll instead summons a meteorite! Can Mirka get rid of her evil twin sister in time and save Hereville?Read the book to find out!Really, read it!It's awesome!I just COULD NOT put it down!
So this book was really great, but I think that if I heard this story like someone reading it to me, I would think of it being more like a normal book not a comic. I wouldn't of selected his book if it was a normal story. It made it a lot less boring.

How Mirka Met a Meteorite is a graphic novel. If you like a fast paced adventure, then this book is for you. Grounded Mirka, having nothing better to do than knit a hat, wins her freedom with a game of chess. Mirka goes to find the troll to get her sword. She asks to see the other magical items. While in the midst of trying to flood the witch’s house with pudding, the troll summons a meteorite! As Mirka is running to the witch’s house as fast as possible, the witch grabs some of her hair and turns the meteorite into Mirka! After all kinds of mayhem Mirka must get rid of Metty [The meteorite]. Will she ever get rid of her?

Lots of kinds of kids would like this book: Kids who like fantasy, kids who are interested in math and magic, kids who like hearing about funny pranks, and kids who like fantasy, mostly.
It was the perfect length. Not too long, not too short.
