I liked this book.

Although I liked this book, there was just so much going on that there may have been a bit TOO much. First there was the fish, then Layele, then the mysterious package that never came...All in all a good book, just a bit too much character-wise for the casual reader.

This book was great!

I would read more books by this author.

This book made me think more about the importance of family.

I think this book was really good and I could feel the characters emotions and I had many OH! AH! Please save her moments. It was easy to follow and it felt like I was watching a movie! They should make this into a movie! Also, I love Mirkas character !
Anyway, GREAT BOOK!

COOL!

Thumbs up!

This book made me think more about being Jewish.

Interesting, Adventurous, yet kind of confusing! It also had really deep concept of being jewish not like in "How to Survive Middle School".

SUPER SCARY

This book made me think more about the importance of family.

This is a very scary book about witches, trolls, giant fish that swallows heads and creepy birds who think of dead fish. I would not read this book if I were you. It gives kids and dogs if you read to your dog nightmares. If you want to get this book you better think twice.

scary and creepy

Thumbs up!

This book made me think more about the importance of family.

This book made me think about responsibility and how you can't always think about yourself.
I liked how it was a graphic novel.
It was a tiny bit scarey.

Amazing!

I would read more books by this author.

This book made me think more about friendship.

I loved the magic in the story. Mirka is such an independent girl and always knows what to do in times of crisis. This book tells how family should stick together and look out for each other. I look forward to reading the other Hereville books because they look very interesting.

I would read more books by this author.

This book made me think more about the importance of family.

I HAVE read the other Mirka books! They are all awesome! I wish I could enter two choices in one category. It made me think about the importance of family AND friends! But all the characters (that are human, at least) are family, so family fits more. But the book is awesome, so who cares!?

This 5 star book will leave you in amazement and a lot of satisfaction!

Mirka is a self-reliant girl who has met a witch, saved a magical, talking pig and battled a magic troll. Yeah I know crazy, right? But when she tries to figure out her stepmother's past, and babysit her younger half-sister, Leyele, things don’t go as well as planned. Will Mirka be able to save Leyele and the rest of the family plus defeat a magical, talking fish?!
