Becoming Brianna

what an amazing book, I definitely recommend!

One of my favorite books from PJ library - I also like it because I see so many of my non Jewish friends reading it, too! I like Brianna's character and how realistic the book is, especially her navigating her parents' divorce. I had my bat mitzvah last month and I love this book because she doesn't have a huge, all out party, million dollar party, like some people assumed I would have. This book helps people better understand what the service and a lower scale party will actually be like, which was super helpful for those coming.

this book is very nice and you dont have to read the other ones in the series to read this.

I just loved it

When I read this book, it explained a lot about what I’d have to do in my bat mitzvah, and it wasn’t just a boring guide. Brianna was a complex character, and it was exciting to understand her story and friendships.
