This book made me think more about the importance of family.

Separating from your family then not having any contact with them really puts you on the edge of your seat. I would totally recommend this book to someone who loves historical fiction.

"A Time for Angels" by Karen Hesse was amazing!!! I think that it might be a bit suspenseful/scary for some kids, but everyone else should totally read it. The only thing that I would change is that I think that the middle of the book dragged on for a bit too long with no real reason to. But again, THIS BOOK IS AWESOME!!!

Not a great pick

Karen Hesse lives in Vermont. She loves reading, hiking, traveling, painting and music. And, in her spare time, she knits beautiful dolls. Karen sends the money that she makes selling these dolls to children in Haiti, who need money for food and school supplies.
