The book I am reviewing is called When We Had Wings by Tami Shem Tov it is about Janek, a 12 year old from Warsaw, Poland who is a thief who encounters an orphanage run by a very nice doctor. But then his sister gets a chance to move to Palestine and he has to decide weather to stay in Poland or go to Palestine with his sister. Overall I liked this book.

This was a very good book about a boy who lived with his sister and then goes to an orphanage. This helps him become a better person during a war. This is a very adventurous book. I would recommend it to anyone who likes action and suspense.
