"Becca is a girl who's dad just got a new job and is moving away from Massachusetts to Florida. Rebeka is a girl who lived 1,000 years earlier and has to move away from Maresha to Athens due to a conflict between the Jews and the Edomites. Yet, these girls are facing similar problems. Read this book to find out how two girls of different times adventures overlap..." I really like this book and now you know why. If you pay attention to both characters perspectives, you'll see that the girls have similar families, problems, and they are facing similar situations.
