For my review, I interviewed the main character from the book to have him share a bit about his experience. Here's what he said: Hi, my name is Ethan, and I am 12 years old. I am also a magician. I do a bunch of shows for birthdays and for other events. I live at home with my mom and dad and my two brothers, Freddy and Jake. Freddy is a typical brother that always wants to do something, but Jake is different. When Jake was born, something was wrong with his brain so he constantly gets really bade fevers and isn't like any of the other kids. Anyway, back to my magic life. I was doing a show for a birthday party and when I was getting back from the birthday part, I noticed a flyer for something called Magic Fest. I looked at it and it says I get to perform magic and I would maybe get a chance to meet my favorite magician ever, Magnus the Magnificent. I finally convinced my parents to go to Magic Fest, and I was so excited. When I got up on stage, I was so nervous, but I did my act and I think I did really well. And I was right! I got first place, but that was only the first round. Right before the next round, something terrible happened that I can't even talk about because I am so sad... You'll have to read Super Jake and the King of Chaos to figure out what happens next.
