For my review, I interviewed the main character from the book to have him share a bit about his experience. Here's what he said: Hi, my name is Ethan, and I am 12 years old. I am also a magician. I do a bunch of shows for birthdays and for other events. I live at home with my mom and dad and my two brothers, Freddy and Jake. Freddy is a typical brother that always wants to do something, but Jake is different. When Jake was born, something was wrong with his brain so he constantly gets really bade fevers and isn't like any of the other kids. Anyway, back to my magic life. I was doing a show for a birthday party and when I was getting back from the birthday part, I noticed a flyer for something called Magic Fest. I looked at it and it says I get to perform magic and I would maybe get a chance to meet my favorite magician ever, Magnus the Magnificent. I finally convinced my parents to go to Magic Fest, and I was so excited. When I got up on stage, I was so nervous, but I did my act and I think I did really well. And I was right! I got first place, but that was only the first round. Right before the next round, something terrible happened that I can't even talk about because I am so sad... You'll have to read Super Jake and the King of Chaos to figure out what happens next.

Jake and Ethan are Super!

Review by LTinuviel

Super Jake and The King of Chaos is about about two kinds of magic: the stage magic that Ethan performs at little kids' parties and the family magic that happens when people love each other and become better people because of it. I loved this book for lots of reasons but a major one is because my maternal grandparents were both special education teachers. They would agree with Ethan's favorite teacher that it's not just Ethan and his parents and Jake's therapists who are heroic. Jake himself is the biggest hero of all. He can't move his muscles well and works hard to do everyday things like chewing and waving hello. But he tries his best and always has a smile for everybody. His good nature helps all who know him to be the best people they can too.

Super Jake and the King of Chaos

Review by ALGrainbows

This book is an awesome story. I recommend it to anyone who loves magic. It has some sad parts, but a lot of happy ones too! It was not to long and not to short. Plus, there are magic tricks at the end!

Super Jake and The King Of Chaos

Review by thunderheart

Really good book! I like/love the way Ethan always takes care of [Super] Jake -even if he [Ethan] gets in trouble. The story is so amazing, that I feel like one of the people in the story.
