Standing Together

Review by Rosie

STANDING TOGETHER by Leah Sokol, is the life story of Natan Sharansky. Natan lived in the Soviet Union with his mother, father, and brother. Being Jewish in the Soviet Union was hard, you got less jobs, where put into jail, and where excepted in less places. Natan Sharansky was unable to get permission to move out of the Soviet Union and because of his speaking out, he was put in jail for many, many years. To find out more, read STANDING TOGETHER.

Standing Together

Review by VG24

I loved how it was about the soviet Union and how it was a biography about Natan Sharansky. I knew about the Soviet Union, but I didn’t know as much until I read standing together.
