This book is awesome! 4 stars

Review by Alice

This book is a great read if you're someone who loves basketball. Almost every other page is full of facts about the sport! The other pages tell the story of Louis "Red" Klotz, the Jewish founder of the Washington Generals. Red's team played the Harlem Globetrotters countless times, and lost nearly every game. Red is said to be one of the biggest losers in sports history, but this book tells the other side of the story. In under a hundred pages, it recounts Red's ambition, his perseverance, and his determination. Red's story shows how important it is to keep doing what you love, to keep pushing limits, no matter how many there may be. Highly recommended!

Review by GoLiverPool

The book, Home Court, was the best Jewish kids book I’ve ever read but it also had some very sad moments. It the right amount of drama and happiness.

This is a story about a boy who teaches everybody that basketball isn’t about winning, it’s about having fun, picking yourself up, and trying again. This was a really great experience and an amazing book! I recommend that you choose this book, I have/had No regrets!!!
