I really enjoyed the book "Faraway Summer".

Review by Gabriella

It is about a girl named Dossi. Dossi's Father, Mother, and one of her sisters all passed away earlier in her life, and now it is just Dossi and her other sister, Ruthi, living together. This story starts off when Ruthi gives Dossi an opportunity to spend time with another family far away for two weeks in the summer. Ruthi thought that this would help Dossi's education and open her eyes to what being a carefree kid is like. Reluctantly, Dossi agrees to give it a try, and some crazy things happen! It is easy to relate to Dossi because she is experiencing many things for the first time. If you like realistic and historical fiction, this book is definitely for you!

This book was pretty good. It wasn't super exciting, but it's nice if you want something simple to read.
