The Personal Information We Collect
From the first moment you interact with us, we are collecting data. Sometimes you provide us with data, sometimes data about you is collected automatically.
If you are a new Subscriber, we’ll collect the following information when you first register with us:
  • Parent/Guardian Full name
  • Email address
  • Mailing Address
  • Child’s Full Name
  • Child’s Date of Birth
To complete your child’s profile, we collect the following information from both new Subscribers and current PJ Library subscribers:

  • Optional field: Child’s Pronouns

*Our PJ Our Way Website contains a mechanism that prevents users from creating usernames that contain their first or last names. Profile avatars are created by choosing from a pre-selected sampling of colors and designs, not images from users.
Public Areas. Our Service includes community areas, blogs, and other public forums (“Public Areas”) where users can share information, post book reviews, and ask questions. These areas are open to the public and should not be considered private, however, PJ Our Way educators moderate user submissions, including comments, videos, and blog posts to remove personal information before posting user submissions to the website. You can request that we remove your post by emailing us at info@pjourway.org, though we may not always be able to fulfill this request.

Cookies: Our website uses tracking technologies including cookies and action tags which may passively collect personal information while you use our Service. This may include tracking the web pages viewed; the last web page visited; the date and time you logged onto or accessed the Service; IP address; browser information; Internet and online usage information; general geolocation information; and activity on the Service.
Does HGF collect sensitive personal data? We don’t collect sensitive data about you like racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious/philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health data, data about your sexual life or orientation, precise geolocation data, or offences or alleged offences except when we have your specific consent or when we must in order to comply with the law.
