Wishtree Review by Cayla
Do you have a wish? You can count on Red, the wishtree. Learn more about Red and her journey below.
Red, the wise old wishtree, just doesn’t get it. Why is the world filled with people who lie, who hurt, and worst of all, people who hate? When Samar’s family moves in, Red sees the worst in people. It’s not like Red can do anything about it ... or can she? Although this book may not have any specific examples of Judaism, the moral applies to Jewish values such as welcoming your neighbors, treating others with respect, the importance of kindness, and making a difference.
