Inspired by last month’s question “What is YOUR favorite recipe?"
Nechama Liss-Levinson, author, When the Hurricane Came, sent us the following story:

Aunt Marilyn’s NOODLE PUDDING
- ½ pound wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
- ½ cup sugar
- ¾ stick margarine, melted
- ½ cup raisins
- 1 apple, cut into small cubes
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- Cook egg noodles in boiling water as directed on bag, and rinse in cold water.
- Put noodles into a 9 inch square aluminum baking pan
- Add sugar, melted margarine, raisins, apples, baking powder and eggs. MIX.
- Bake in 375 degree oven for 45 minutes. Top should be light brown. Don’t burn.
