I loved this book!

This book made me think more about friendship.

i liked how each of the questions relates to one of their experiences. i usually don't like books that switch to different people's perspectives, but this was an exception.

read this as an assigned class book

I loved this book!

This book made me think more about friendship.

This is an amazing book! I was assigned this book for a book report, and I finished reading it before the due date! I absolutely love the characters, and the way the story is written. To sum it up, this book takes you on a sort of adventure through four kid's school years until the Academic Bowl, where they get quizzed on all sorts of subjects. Overall, it's an outstanding book, and you should read it!!

A Great Book with Multiple Perspectives

I would read more books by this author.

This book made me think more about friendship.

This book reminded me of a puzzle: You don't know how the characters are connect until the middle of the book. Parts of it were confusing, but all in all it was great.
I loved the characters because they all are kind of quirky and had depth.

This book got a little boring

I really like this book because it tells the story from the point of view of some of the characters, and I feel more connected to the characters because of that. It also tells some of the story in the third person, so I can understand what everyone is thinking. I also think that the story and all of the characters and their personalities are cool. I really liked reading this book!

E.L. Konigsburg
Author of The View From Saturday

E.L. (Elaine Lobl) Konigsburg, who died in 2013, was one of only six writers to win two Newbery Medals; her winning books were From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs Basil E. Frankweiler (1968) and The View from Saturday (1997). Elaine was the first person in her family to go to college. She studied chemistry and was a science teacher until she had children, and she started writing stories when her third child started kindergarten. She is the only author ever to have two books nominated for the Newbery Medal in the same year, and the books were her very first published novels!
