I would read more books by this author.

I learned more about Jewish history from this book.

I loved it so much that I read the whole book as soon as I got it! I felt like it was just the right length that I could just read the whole book straightaway. I liked that Dan and Sharon (or Sharona) really helped Rachel when she was hurt. I really like that the older Rachel didn't know what they were talking about when they asked her if she remembered them.
I learned a lot about the War of Independence such as that when the Jews surrendered they got captured first and then were freed in the six-day war.

Too Short
Submitted 3/22/2017 by wolfgirl04

I liked this book.

I liked it but it was way too short. Maybe I just like long books better. But ultimately it was a pretty good.
It was interesting. Not my ''ABSOLUTE FAVORITE BOOK'' but would still recommend it to the younger readers out there. If you are 10 this book probably will be too boring. (i read this last year and tried to read it again but found it quite boring and short) STILL GOOD BOOK!!!

DO NOT READ THIS BOOK!!!
Submitted 3/2/2017 by eldest1

This book was terrible!!!! It was boring and it was really dumb and seemed like a story meant for a four year old. Unless you like reading about dumb ten year old lying to their parents and going somewhere when they were supposed to be at ballet and whatever then you should not read this book. Actually you should not read this book anyway. TERRIBLE!!!

Boring!

This book was not that interesting. It was also super short. The illustrations were blech. l wouldn't read the others, the second was so disappointing. The only good part was when they were captured.

In this book the main characters are Dan and Sharon. They are good friends that live in Jerusalem, Israel. They go into a tunnel that leads them back in time. They find themselves in the middle of the Israel war of Independence. Sharon and Dan are captured and taken prisoners by the Arabs. While in captivity, they meet a girl named Rachel who becomes their friend. They go on many adventures, find the tunnel and go back to Jerusalem in the present.
I think this book is exciting and would recommend it to people who are interested in the history of Israel or time travel. I especially liked Sharon because she is a brave girl. I would really want to act like Sharon if this were to happen to me. I was very sad when Sharon and Dan were taken prisoners but I was very excited to read about their escape.
I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I did!
