	Maddie, age 11, Cleveland, Ohio “When I think of Israel it makes me feel proud to be Jewish. Although I'm far away, I still feel connected. I can't wait until I get to visit someday.”
	Eitan, age 10, Washington, D.C. “When I think of Israel, I think of a Jewish and holy place that people can be protected in. A land where nature is strong and surrounding. I think that nothing could go wrong in Israel because of the strong presence of G-d. In Israel, I think that everyone can be safe. Israel is the land of the Jews so it is a sacred place.”
	Hannah, age 11, Cleveland, Ohio “When I think of Israel, I think of the land of the Jewish people. Israel is our history and our freedom as Jewish people. It is written in the Torah that Israel is the land of the Jewish people. Lots of other religions also agree that Israel is an important and holy land. I think that if there was a capital of the World, it should be Israel because many people of many religions consider Israel the holiest and most important place. Have a fantastic Yom Haatzmaut (Israel’s Independence Day)! P.S. Don't forget to wear blue and white on May 12 for Yom Haatzmaut!
