This book made me thankful for what I have. I learned many lessons from this book: 1 - never give up and stop trying, even if it seems like nothing will get better, 2 - be thankful for what you have because anything can happen, and 3 - when it seems like all is lost, have hope. This book is very inspirational and touching. This book is for anyone who is going through hard things. After what i have said, i hope you read this book!

this was a really good book

this is the worlds best book ever! I lived in Germany for a year and can relate to ruth about how it felt to be new and not speak the language. I will bring this book to sleep away camp forever

Lucky Broken Girl is an amazing book and I will definitely read it again. Because the author herself was in a body cast for a year, there was a lot of emotion/feeling in it. That helped me to go through the journey with Ruthie and understand what was happening more fiercely than I would have otherwise. This book also taght me about what it is like for a immigrants who come to America without knowing how to speak English, since Ruthie and her family come from Havana, Cuba to Queens, New York and don’t know how to speak English at first. Overall, it is a book that is worth reading at least once.
