Pretty good book, kind of confusing

Review by momofabookworm

This book made me think about how the Jim Crow laws were very unfair. Susan gets very angry when she learns about segregation and wants to do something about it. This book hooked me because I wanted to keep reading and find out what Susan was going to do.

I loved this book!

Review by CoffeeBreak

I liked this book becauae it taught me a lot about what it was like in america during WW11. Along with that, it was really interesting, and a good example of how even if you do something small, it still matters.

I really loved this book

I really liked this book because even though I knew a lot about civil rights this really showed a way kids could help.

This book was good but a little bland and boring.

Review by AllStarBaseballGirl

I wouldn’t recommend this book to a friend. It is a little boring and bland. It also lacks detail in important events and adds detail in unimportant ones.

not interesting or exciting whatsoever

I don't think that Susie should get much credit the way the story is written i think Susie has a lot to work on. There are a few books on pj that are like this, basicly the hero\heroine doesn't really act Jewish I mean she's not really proud of her heritage or anything, being Jewish isn't just part of life it's a strength its part of us past down from generation to generation and we should be proud of it no matter what.
