This was an amazing book overall! There were a few dark scenes, but they mostly weren’t too gory. It ended too fast and made me kinda sad when it ended. But a great book!

Paper chains was a great book for anyone who loves mystery. This 'Bank Street Best Children's Book of the Year' and 'A Mighty's Girls Best Book Winner' award-winning book is great for kids ages 8-10. I read it with my friend who also chose it, and we both liked it after we finished it. !!WARING!! If you read it with a friend, don't spoil it for them!!

This book was very exciting. I really got caught up in the characters and their stories. I recommend it!

I would recommend this book for anyone who likes mysteries or slightly darker stories. I think this book might be too dark for younger kids and they might not understand. I would say that this is not a book you should read at bedtime unless you want to have nightmares. Still, I found it captivating all the same. There are a few scenes with blood, and for most of the book (at least for me) kind of a dark cloud seems to fall over the characters. The ending also comes pretty fast and left me wanting more. Overall, pretty good book!
