This book was great! I loved how it taught you about Jewish customs, but also made it fun because of all the mythology. I would whole heartily recommend this book to anyone, but especially Rick Riordan lovers. I give this book a 4 or higher. This was by far, the best PJ Our Way book I have ever gotten.

In Jordan and the Dreadful Golem, all children are born with powers related to their names. Jordan, named after the Jordan River, can turn into water; Eden can create from her thoughts, as in the Garden of Eden; and so on and so forth. The village of Kfar Keshet seems perfectly safe. But… in the forest near the town, danger is rising. Jordan and his friends are on a camping trip when they see a man hunched over a book, chanting eerily and scooping mud into a shape. But what shape? This book has a lot of tension, so I really love it. The humor is also very good, and that is another reason I would recommend it. People—read this!!!

I loved this book! It combines magic with Jewish mythology. It was so cool that the 4 children have these gifts. I've started to read this book and I want you to read it!

Wow, what a great book, it was exciting!! At the end, it sort of gave me the creeps! It sent ice up along my spine..... Pheoow. GREAT BOOK ALTOGETHER, READ IT!!!

I love this book because this book brings you places that you could never imagine. And yet author Karen Goldman does it in such a non-scary way. This book is great! I give this book five stars!
