I find the message in this book is that nothing can separate two super close friends. If it's a doll, or a camp, that powerful friendship will be there.

So good I loved it it’s one of my favorite books now I love it how even through difficult times Michi and Esther can’t stay friends no matter what even though Esther gets a doll and michi doesn’t
