I LOVED this book! It is my favorite book from PJ Our Way so far.

I have read this book and so has my mom. It is my favorite PJ our way book that I have received.

It is a little sad how some people in Cuba treated the dad and sister. But there were many nice people. It is about a girl who's dad went to Cuba to make money. Her dad finally gets enough money for one boat ticket for one of the family members to come and help make money for the rest of the family. It ends happily. But it does start out a little boring but gets very interesting quickly. I recommend this book who are interested in the history of Jewish people and that are okay with books that have a not so interesting beginnings and get more interesting as the story goose along.

My mom's name is Esther, the main character's name is also Esther. The book deals with a Jewish family living in Cuba and I truly enjoyed reading it as it reminded me of my own family.
