I don't know what to call this review.

So this book was really great, but I think that if I heard this story like someone reading it to me, I would think of it being more like a normal book not a comic. I wouldn't of selected his book if it was a normal story. It made it a lot less boring.

Claire, 11, Design Team 5 stars! How Mirka Met a Meteorite is a graphic novel. If you like a fast paced adventure, then this book is for you. Grounded Mirka, having nothing better to do than knit a hat, wins her freedom with a game of chess. Mirka goes to find the troll to get her sword. She asks to see the other magical items. While in the midst of trying to flood the witch’s house with pudding, the troll summons a meteorite! As Mirka is running to the witch’s house as fast as possible, the witch grabs some of her hair and turns the meteorite into Mirka! After all kinds of mayhem Mirka must get rid of Metty [The meteorite]. Will she ever get rid of her?

Great for all kids!

Review by Design Team

Rebecca, age 10, CA Lots of kinds of kids would like this book: Kids who like fantasy, kids who are interested in math and magic, kids who like hearing about funny pranks, and kids who like fantasy, mostly. It was the perfect length. Not too long, not too short.
