A boy named Dan finds a tunnel in a cave.He asks his friend Sharon to come and explore the tunnel with him.They go down the tunnel and find their self back in time . Dan and Sharon have to find a way to go back up the tunnel and into the future.

By Hadas, 9, Design Team In this book the main characters are Dan and Sharon. They are good friends that live in Jerusalem, Israel. They go into a tunnel that leads them back in time. They find themselves in the middle of the Israel war of Independence. Sharon and Dan are captured and taken prisoners by the Arabs. While in captivity, they meet a girl named Rachel who becomes their friend. They go on many adventures, find the tunnel and go back to Jerusalem in the present. I think this book is exciting and would recommend it to people who are interested in the history of Israel or time travel. I especially liked Sharon because she is a brave girl. I would really want to act like Sharon if this were to happen to me. I was very sad when Sharon and Dan were taken prisoners but I was very excited to read about their escape. I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I did!
