This book was very inspiring and encouraging. I would recommend it to anyone. It taught me more about friendship and relationships.

This book was a very encouraging book that really made me think about what friendship really is .

I loved this book. It had great characters who were all very different. The book was touching and funny. Josheph has a good character and Heather has a sad life but Josheph helps her get through it. By the end of the book the runners on the team seemed like family. I wished it would never end because I wanted to hear more about Josheph, Ms. Fishbein and Josheph's grapndpa, and everyone else.

This book was a great read. A boy named Joseph starts as a very skinny and not very sporty middle schooler. But he slowly rises to the top. He may not beat other people, but he beats his PR (personal record). This story is sort of sending a message to readers like, "No matter where you started, you will always have a good end." Even my mom was absorbed in this book! You must read it. It is very good for a boring weekend, or any other day!
