This book is empowering and a little bit sad, but not so much that you don’t want to keep reading it. I would highly encourage anyone and everyone to read it. You won’t regret it!

Great book
A place at the table is a book about too immigrant families one from London and the other from Pakistan the British mum has been struggling with depression sense her mom died the Pakistani on the other hand is struggling to get Enough money from the after school south Asian cooking class when their daughters (one who hates cooking and the other loves to ) form a shaky alliance they decide to enter a cooking competition making a mix of their two heritinges
