I really love this book! When you read The book you really feel like your in her shoes. I love the part when her grand father tells the story of him and his family in The Aushwitz concentration camp. I also love the part when Shirli Berman’s grandfather comes up in front of the whole entire cast of the play and tells them his story for the first time he ever spoke about the holocaust in front of so many people except for Shirli. I enjoyed this book very much and recommend this book to everyone!
I really liked this book because it was about the aftermath of the holocaust and it also gives us a powerful lesson that the past is still with us.
Filled with tragedy, laughs, and romance, this is a book you will want to read again and again.
I really enjoyed this book and the relationship between granddaughter and grandpa. It had its many sad parts but the ending was great. Makes me think of ours and how we never know what they have been through so we need to be kind.
This is the best book I've gotten so far!
