I listened to this on a road trip and gave it ⭐⭐⭐⭐. This time I will give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I think the ending was less emotional. Also, the book is almost only letters from Esther to her little sister Malka.

OMG! OMG! I loved this book sooooooo much!!!!!! 5 stars! By the other reviews it looked like people didn't like it as much as I did, but give it a try! It was beautifully written and just overall AMAZING. Definitely read!

Not as good as Ruth Behar's first book, 'Lucky Broken Girl' but still amazing!

I love this book and would definitely recommend it to anyone. I loved the events and the way it ended. I could not stop reading it when I started.
