Great book

Review by SportsRule

This book is great for people who love soccer and trading cards. There is a lot of suspense and I could not put it down. It shows how powerful friendship can be.

Beyond Lucky

Review by Olive

I love soccer, so i loved this book. I have re-read Beyond Lucky numerous times. I definitely recommend for ages 8-12. In the book, Ari finds a lucky soccer card of his idol, the amazing goalie from his hometown, Somerset valley, and starts playing really well. Then his lucky card goes missing, and it seems like he can't play anymore. His best friend Mac becomes jealous of his new friendship with the only girl on his team, Parker Llewlyn. (i think i spelled that wrong) He becomes torn between Mac and Parker, who both hate each other, and has no clue what has become of his lucky card, all while he misses and worries about his older brother who went off to be a smoke-jumper firefighter. This is a funny and moving book. I hope you enjoy.

Beyond Lucky!

Review by summersaddle23

This book was a beyond luck choice. A kid, Ari Fish , struggles with a friend ( a.k.a Mac) and wonders if he is truly a good friend. He searches for a lucky card and gets it one day, hoping it will give him luck for his soccer team, but can he do good without the card? He has a crush named Parker, who, by the way is the only girl on his soccer team. I enjoyed this intriguing book, and I know you will too. I recommend this book for ages 10+.
