I enjoyed this book very much. I like how they went into detail on the lives of the Stoons, and the golem was such a cool character. Unlike most villains, Count Pol is really hate-able which makes him a great villain. For example, Count Pol lets angry, ravenous, bears into the forest to hunt them, even though he misses every shot! There were a lot of twists in the book, which I enjoyed, but it seemed a bit rushed at the end. Some things at the end of the book seemed like way too much of a coincidence to be true. The ending was sad, but also not sad at the same time. Overall, I really enjoyed the book, and I would love to see some sort of sequel.
I REALLY liked this book!!
I recommend this book to people who like suspence in their books, but also to people who like action and adventure
I really loved this book it was so so so GOOD!!!!!!!
GOTTIKA: a world divided into The Stoons, the poor, guarded part of this world run by evil, and Gottika, where the rich people live . . . and also Count Pol, the evil mastermind with a horrible backstory. Our main character, Danny, lives in The Stoons, where everyone is forced to wear red hats and will be put in prison for being out on the streets after 9:00pm, among other strict rules. However, despite these terrible circumstances, Danny still lives on. He will have to face betrayal, unkindness, sabotage, and many more things on his adventure. But it all changes when his father illegaly uses magic to summon a Gol from the very earth to protect The Stoons. Along the way he starts to understand the true meanings of life itself. Overall, GREAT book
