I love this book. Personally, I think it was really descriptive. I like the way the author wrote it and I like the illustration ( s ) too. - Emily

This book is so good. It talks about a Jewish girl. She is the only one in the neighbor hood who does not celebrate Christmas. She also begs her mother to get a Christmas tree. And she does not want to celebrate Hanukkah. How will she try and act normal or how could she think of what to tell her friends when they want to know why she does not have a Christmas tree up? Or when they ask how was your Christmas and what did Santa bring you. But all she can do is try and act normal and face the fact that she is different she is Jewish.

I loved reading the book. It was very fun but I didn’t understand everything.
