This book was just OK because the thoughts going on inside Tara, the main character's mind are SUPER geeky, but it gets better when (spoiler alert!!!) Sheila Rosenberg adds a twist near the end saying that she hates purple and then becomes friends with Tara. But to wrap it all up, I think that this book was meh, just meh.
Tara goes through many challenges. She deals with friends, family members, mistakes, and bar/bat mitzvas. I liked that Tara can figure out who she really is and what she believes in.
this is an awesome book! You need to read this!
I love how Tara's family has different religions but together they make the perfect blend. Tara is a good leader and very creative. This book kept me super interested.
This book was really cool, because I am curious about what it feels like to have a bat mitzvah. I never really thought that anyone would really have any doubts about it. It was also really cool, because it teaches about the meaning of friendship. I really liked this book and hope for more book choices like this!
