I liked this book because it taught me about history while being a really good book. I totally recommend it!

This book was very touching! While I was reading it, I felt like I was right there with Meskerem. Though this story was great, it's super short so you may want to consider if you prefer longer books, but I'm not complaining because this book was short and sweet. However, I could barely tell that Meskerem and her family were Jewish. I feel like that subject was pretty untouched.

It was good. It was quite short, but it made me think about leaving a home.

Great book! I think that if you're moving, and nervous about it, this would be a great book to read.
