I loved this book so much! I loved the way the book showed how much Charlie loves Nan, especially in the chapter that's from his perspective. The book does get very sad, but there are a lot of bittersweet moments that are just so sad and so sweet. All in all, I loved this book so much and I hope others do too.

I love it. I read at night and couldn't stop reading it is so good.

I liked that it took place in the 1800s. The story might not be true but it's based on true circumstances. There really were kids that had to climb into chimney flues and clean them for money. I liked that at the end there was a big protest for human rights because children sometimes died trying to do this dangerous job. The story is fun because there is fantasy and the main character has a friend that is a golem.
