Me and my mom read this book together and we can both agree this is the best book yet. It's full of surprise, heartache, and the twistiest turns possible. I recommend this book for both children and adults.
I like it a lot,
Miguel’s family owns a horse ranch in Arizona in 1535. He was raised a Catholic but one week before his 13th birthday, he learns that his ancestors were Jewish. Miguel’s world turns upside down and he rides away from home. He becomes lost in the desert and is caught by a band of Apaches. After a risky escape, he meets a boy named Rushing Cloud, a Tohono O’odham who is running from a mission school. As Rushing Cloud helps Miguel get home, Miguel learns to survive in the desert. He also begins to understand his heritage differently. I liked this book and would recommend it to anyone who likes an exciting story.
