Really good! It is one of my favorites!

It was a great book because it had a lot of funny parts and there was a lot of details and it had a great ending

I liked the part when Tristan made the chocolate cream doughnuts because I learned that if you replace some of the flour with mashed potatoes it makes the doughnuts lighter and I LOVE doughnuts. :)

This book is about a kid who is from NY city who moves to a dull town called Petersville. He sees a sign in the general store advertising doughnuts. Can he convince Winnie the general store owner to give him her recipe? Read this book to find out!
