I think I could relate to the main character a lot. I always wonder if my parents will move us from our city to a suburb or rural area. I really liked the way the author fit all three kids's views of the move into the story. I also really liked the takes on friendships breaking, friendships staying and friendships growing. I can't wait to buy the next book in the series, The Doughnut King.
it is a great book i totaly recomend it.
When I first got this book I didn’t think I would enjoy it. But when I started it with my mom my eyes grew wide and I knew I would love it! It’s a great book for 3rd and 4th graders and easy to read.
12 year old Tristen, just moved from awesome, pretty, cool New York, to in the middle of nowhere, Petersville. Tristen couldn't be anymore furious! First of all, he starts by sleeping in the ATTIC with a SLEEPING BAG. Life in Petersville couldn't get more worse! But it all ends in Trist on a quest for the perfect recipe of chocolate cream doughnuts-and trying to open his own business. Maybe life in Petersville COULD end up getting better but it's all up to Trist. I recommend this book to all little chefs around the world-especially the ones who love chocolate cream doughnuts!
great book read the 1st and 2nd if you love cooking/baking(i do) then you will love this book, i recommend this for all age.
