I loved this book! It was funny and intriguing. I would definitely recommend it.

this book great! Iv'e read it so many times and i will still read it again. some other people wrote reviews for it saying that it didn't have any jewish stuff in it, which is sort of true but i think that the lesson and general vibe of the book is jewish. this book is a great read that has you feeling like you ARE tristan and you are right THERE, in petersville. you should definitley read this this book!

it's a really really good book and I really recommend it!! However, there isn't really that much Jewish... anything in it. There are some Jewish recipes (like challah and sufganiyot) and a couple Yiddish words, that's kinda it.

This Is such a great book! It had everything you would want in a book! It makes you laugh and feel what the character is feeling. I read this by myself and then a second time as a read-out-loud book with my brother and mom! They both loved it! (And my dad who laughed at the side line) I recommend you get this for your P.J Library selection. ALSO Read the book that comes after Doughnut King it is also really good!!

The book itself was pretty good but I'm taking off two stars because in BOTH of the books, let me repeat BOTH had almost zero Jewish stuff in it. At one point in the second book Tris mentions Yiddish but it's almost like he's insulting it. For a website that is supposed to have Jewish books you guys don't always pick them so we'll.
