It was a very clever book!
THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING! I Loved it! Perfect size. It’s about a boy who immigrated to England and lives with another family and overcomes a bunch of problems. He has to find a way to bring along his dog Hanno.
It was fine. Kind of boring, and I didn't like the ending.
This is an awesome book. If you like history and love dogs, you will love this book. Now, to get to the story. This is about a Jewish German boy, Rudi, and it tells of his journey to England with his sister, Lotte. He is going to escape Hitler. England is letting German Jewish children go to volunteer families in England. His dog Hanno, however, can't come. So a man named Dieter offers to take him to England for him. Dieter is not Jewish, so he can go easily. Hanno will have to go through six months of quarantine before he can return to Rudi. When he gets to England, his family, the Evans', are quite welcoming. They are Auntie Irene and Uncle Don. Soon, Hanno comes and Rudi is overjoyed. But quite a while later, he hears Auntie Irene and Uncle Don talking. They want to put Hanno down...
