I think this book is filled with tiny hidden Historical facts, but is also fun if you like fantasy (like Harry Potter, I'm a big fan for that!). I suggest this book to people who read all the books in their shelves and a looking for a humorous, magical, and sort of sad book! Five million thumbs up!
In the beginning I wasn't hooked, but then my friend who read the book told me it was sooooo good so I tried it again and LOVED it! It is about three kids and their dog who have magic abilities, since it is in medieval times the church didn't like that so the kids must keep themselves safe. I learned a bit about Jewish history since one of the children is a Jew, and back then a lot of things were based on religion. Over all GREAT book!
this book is a must read! also from this author: So You Want to be a Jedi? amazing
The story line is likable but I haven't been able to finish the book because of the graphic violent scene in the woods. There really should have been some sort of warning with this book that this scene existed. Some readers are sensitive to these things.
You should get this book, but it would be better if told in the children's perspective.
