I like that there is lots of action. And the dog Gwenforte.

I think that this book is very well written and has a wonderful storyline. However, I do not recommend this to very young kids, because there's lots of action and violence. It is also very creative and I love the characters.

Good

I loved this book so much! It was set in I think the Middle Ages, and had so much adventure and magic. Some of it was a little weird (like when William used a donkey leg to fight some fiends), but it was mostly creative and funny. I recommend this book for 7/8+, because some of it gets a, um, “advanced” in some parts. If you read this book, like it, and are 9 and older, read Adam Gidwitz’s trilogy that’s starts with A tale dark and Grimm. I hope you choose this book!
