This book was funny and had a good concept of friendship!
The reason why I liked this book so much was because it was packed with adventure and action! At every moment of the story something was happening and it was very exciting! Now this was also a bad thing. Since to much information and action was compressed into one piece it was sometimes difficult to follow and I was often confused. Overall though, the plot of a monk, Jewish boy, pheasant girl, and their magical (and supposedly dead) dog was very good and I also really liked the authors language. It fits my age perfectly (10 1/2)!
great story of friendship.
Amazing book. I loved the fanasty aspect.
A fascinating look at the Middle Ages. And the theme connects to today's world issues! Def a page-turner and makes you think. The author's notes about how he came up with the idea were super interesting.
